Junior and Senior Physics Requirements (18 cr)
The courses must be at the 4xxx or 5xxx level. They must include at least two chosen from the following
  • Phys 4001, Analytical Mechanics
  • Phys 4002, Electricity and Magnetism
  • Phys 4101, Quantum Mechanics
  • Phys 4201, Statistical and Thermal Physics

Completion of a physics project, either by the completion of Phys 4052, Methods of Experimental Physics II (5 cr), or by some alternal means subject to departmental approval. In either case, any credits received in so doing may be counted among the 18 credits required above.

CLA Undergraduate Physics Minor

All of the requirements for the first two years of the CLA physics major, with the exception of the fourth semester of math, and with the addition of 3 credits in physics courses at the 3xxx level or above.
