The many-body theory of magnetic systems and of quantum fluids:
The theory and simulation of the structure and dynamics of micron-scale and nano-scale magnetic materials. The many-body theory and quantum statistical mechanics of strongly correlated condensed matter systems, including quantum fluids in bulk geometries, films and clusters/droplets; weakly interacting Bose gases; highly correlated quantum Coulombic systems, including the low density electron gas, electron-hole systems, liquid metallic hydrogen, the anomalous quantum Hall effect, and the electronic structure of atomic systems. The structure and dynamics of classical fluids, including molecular dynamics.
