PhysTEC trains "Learning Assistants" who work in a classroom environment helping students, facilitating discussions and improving their own teaching skills.

One participant in the program said, "I've had the opportunity to explore the ins and outs of teaching. It's confirmed that this is what I want to do with my life."

Another participant said, "Being an L.A. has been the most exciting thing for me this semester! I feel so great to be able to help students through the physics materials that confuse them. Meeting with other LAs is equally, if not more exciting. I got to know so many amazing students. It's awesome!"
